Results

All samples taken during a procedure will be sent to the Royal Berkshire Hospital Laboratory and the results returned to BWCES within 4-5 weeks. The endoscopist responsible for your procedure will write to both you and your GP with your results.

If during your gastroscopy you have a Urease test, you will be asked to call your GP surgery a few days later to get the result.
